A delegation of AKSP Seigokan Portugal, composed by Luís Gonçalves (1st Dan), Ricardo Correia (2nd Dan) and led by Shihan Jose Santana (6ºDan), Seigokan Head Chief Instructor for Portugal and Europe, dislocates October 18 to Reggio Calabria, in Italy, to help Sensei Francesco Cuzzocrea in its process of adhesion to Seigokan. Francesco Cuzzocrea was one of the first pupils of Sensei Tatsuto Sadanobu that in 1974 introduced this traditional style of karatedo in Italy, sent by the Honbu Dojo of Seigokan and for the proper Seigo Tada Hanshi with intention to divulge and to expand this martial art beyond borders, nominated in Italy. The Portuguese Delegation that will be there three days, stops beyond promoting the 1st International Stage of Seigokan in that country and will offer to the future official member of Seigokan the flag of Seigokan Italy, in a fraternity gesture, that certainly will be strengthened throughout the years, with other periods of training, International Championships and comradeship.
